There are two airports in Tete, Mozambique - Tete Airport (TET) and Cahora Bassa Airport (CMN). To get from the main airport to downtown Tete, you can take a taxi for around MT 50 ($0.83). Taxis are generally reliable and are the fastest way to get to Tete town. Unfortunately, there is no exchange service at Tete airport. You can exchange money at some banks in the downtown area or at the airport information desk.
