Maun is situated in Botswana, with a subtropical climate. The summers in Maun are generally hot with average temperatures of 27°C (81°F) and winter temperatures are cool and pleasant with average temperatures of 17°C ( 62°F). The wet season in Maun is from October to March, with temperatures rising in November and peaking in February. During the wet season, Maun experiences frequent thunderstorms and warm temperatures with high humidity. The dry season in Maun runs from April to September, with temperatures decreasing as the season progresses and more mild temperatures in June and July. During this season, Maun experiences little rainfall and mild temperatures. The best time to visit Maun is during the dry season, when temperatures are mild and comfortable and the area is less humid than during the wet season.
