Average temperatures in Kigali City range from 16°C (60°F) to 27°C (80°F) with temperatures in the city’s higher elevation areas being much cooler. The city gets an average of 1020 mm (40 in) of rain each year with most of it occurring during the wetter season, which also coincides with the city’s peak tourist season.
