Dubai is a cosmopolitan city in the United Arab Emirates and home to approximately 2.5 million people. Its time zone is UTC+04:00, which is four hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time. Climate and Weather
Dubai has a unique desert climate characterised by low rainfall, high temperatures, and low humidity throughout the year. It is generally hot and humid during the summer months, and cool and dry during the winter months. The hottest months of the year are July and August, when the average day-time temperatures can exceed 40℃, and overnight temperatures can drop as low as 26℃. Winters are usually mild, although temperatures occasionally drop below 10℃ at night. Rainfall is irregular and usually occurs in short bursts during the winter months, with an average annual rainfall of just 100mm. The city is located in the middle of the desert and is therefore prone to sand storms and dust storms, particularly during the summer months.
